Yet I see nothing has changed. Where are the moderator's? Administrator's? Is nothing going to be done about this nonsense with the porn and spam?HuhHuhHuhHuh

I come and see that there are way more spammers than real people.

Am I the only one upset by this?

Someone finally went through and deleted all of the olds posts in the announcements section.  There was 5 or 6 pages of it - now we are back to one page.  For now LOL.

You would think that all of the non smammer members of the forum would know one of the porn posts when they see them, but people are still trying to view them LOL!  sickos!  Haha

Not me. I dont need any viruses on my pc. You get stuff like a spyware in your system and it takes nearly a reformat to rid your pc of it. No one wants to reformat their pc.

I am disappointed in how this has been handled. It seems to me if the people who ran this site cared they would make a few posts and let us know what if anything they are trying to do about this.

GSS this is why we may need to move on to a different blog. One that is fresh, without the spam...one with a new beginning if you will.

A new blog/forum for us to use has been started. You can find it here http://justincase.lefora.com/

We can all get this site moving along with the members that are here now. All its going to take is some invites and we will be active just like here.

The format is just like here...check it out if you will.

Im not sure if they realize that even though they do not have an IT person; there are online management providers for servers such as http://www.platinumservermanagement.com/.

This is just one of many off the top of my head.  Different companies cover different operating systems and software depending on what the server is used for.  This server is not to complex, especially the forum side.  Now for a mere 30$ to the company i posted above, they would harden the server if not already(im sure there is some sort of IT intelligence  over there).  They also will update any out of date software that may be running.  They can also take care of the spam problem.  There is nothing but a 30 dollar a month commitment.

So if you only want service for a month?  No problem, pay the 30 dollars and your good.  This is a small issue that would take me only a few hours to fix.  I know of high school kids whom could also help them with the issue.  I would almost donate money to them  have someone fix it; but im guess that the site's security is lax the whole way round.  At this point, if i were really inclined to help them, I would breach the server myself, Taggit, Harden it, Update it, then a few security mods for spam and new user registration.

What I may be inclined to do though, is put this out as a challenge to a few high schoolers from the surrounding counties.  Grin
