Well I must say that this is the first forum I have joined and I am going to attempt visit as frequently as possible. I too was raised in Piqua. I graduated in 1982 and saved my money, bought a car and got out as fast as possible.

Now, don't get me wrong. I love Piqua for it's culture and environment. I just can't live in Piqua.

I grew up fishing with my grandparents, friends, cousins too!
I hiked the woods from one end of town to another and along the river.

I come back to visit every now and then to relax. It seems that that is all I get to do because it usually rains the whole time I am back in Piqua.

My first child was born in Piqua.
My first love was in Piqua.
My first car too.
My first apartment.

Great Memories!!!

Hello to everyone. I'll first admit I was a little hesitant about joining another message board in this area. (last experience was a complete and utter nightmare) However, I miss having some kind of contact with other people about local happenings. Working midnights, this is especially difficult! Thanks for providing this. I hope to enjoy it.

Welcome tootsie,  I think you will find this to be a great forum.  Most of us work hard to make sure that everyone feels welcome and stays feeling that way. Wink
